On Hiatus

It has been awhile since I’ve blogged, so maybe this post is unnecessary...but better late than never.

In honor of what will be my last week at my current job, a jam-packed Memorial Day weekend, an upcoming week off to take care of some errands, a fun filled bachelorette party weekend, and the start of my new job, I will be taking a hiatus from bloggery until mid to late July.

Until then, live life and party on.

Warriors Are Awesome

Punch me, Guido! Punch me in the face!

Did anyone see the Warriors game last night? Holy cow! The Warriors beat the Mavericks. They are now in the Western Conference semifinals. They freakin’ knocked out the number 1 team in the NBA playoffs who had 67 wins this season. Oh my goodness!!!

Yeah, ok, I’m a little shocked right now. Being in the Bay Area, there are so many sports teams that I can choose from. The 49ers and Giants have always been my first priority (stupid Giants lost last night), and the Sharks and Warriors have always fallen to the waste side. But this year, I don’t know what is going on. The Sharks are in the playoffs. Granted, they were leading the series, and the game on Wednesday night, against the Red Wings until they lost in overtime and now have to deal with a tied series at 2. But the Warriors have dominated their series against the Mavs to everyone’s surprise and are on their way to the semifinals. Hallelujah!

I was watching the Warriors game last night and boy am I glad I’m not a Mavs fan. I almost felt bad for them. It’s like watching a gory movie…I wanted to turn my head away but I just couldn’t. So instead I’m jumping up and down and cheering like a mad woman for Stephen Jackson and the rest of the Warriors.

Today is a good day. It’s time for some good ‘ol celebration.
