March Madness Begins

And so it begins.

I know you all think that I love March because my birthday is in March…well, I’m not going to lie, that’s part of it. But hello…March Madness is in March and you really have to be a fool not to be a March Madness fan. Not that I’m judging you…I just think you suck.

With the tournament set to begin tomorrow, people are scrabbling to complete their brackets…hahaha, suckers. I’m done with mine.

I have UNC vs. GTown and Memphis vs. Duke for the Final Four, and UNC vs. Duke meeting in the championship with UNC taking the whole tournament. This may be a long shot this year, but hey, what can I say? I dream big.

So take a moment and savor the joy that is March Madness. Games are streamed online for extra low work productivity this year. Wahoo.

Daylight Savings Time

Didn’t I say Monday was going to come too soon? Yes, I did. I enjoyed my weekend, I really did. But it was just too short. I didn’t have enough time to really enjoy all the good things that happened.

And seriously, kill me now…it’s going to be a very long day. Since Daylight Savings Time was this past weekend, I can’t say that I’m too happy with losing an hour of sleep. Granted I’ll probably love Daylight Savings Time at the end of the day since it’ll still be light for hours and hours after I get off work, but it’s not the end of the day and I’m not enjoying it now.

As for this upcoming week, I can’t say that I’m too happy with how busy it is turning out to be, but hey, I knew it was going to be like this last week, right? But this upcoming weekend should be a blast, so I can’t complain too much.

OK time to get back to work.

Friday

Thank goodness it’s Friday.

Man, it has been a long week. Have you ever had one of those weeks that never seem to end? I don’t know about all of you, but for some reason, this week seemed to drag on longer than usual. I think it is partly due to this week being so extremely busy that I haven’t had more than roughly five hours of sleep. I’ve been feeling so frustrated, tired and drained lately, that if I didn’t know any better, I would start to worry about my well-being. I’m breathing a sigh of relief now, since it is Friday. But it doesn’t stop me from wanting to plug my ears, bang my fist and yell at the top of my lungs.

But seriously, it’s about time this week is over. I don’t think I have looked forward to a Friday like this in quite awhile. Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve always looked forward to Friday, but this week, Friday couldn’t come soon enough. I hope to enjoy this weekend because I know that Monday is going to come way too soon. And with next week being more crazy and busy than this week, it doesn’t do much to settle my nerves.

So it’s time to kick back and relax and enjoy the weekend. I’ll worry about everything some other time.

Presidential Democratic Primary

So yesterday was another Super Tuesday and I hear that Hilary Clinton was able to slow down the Obama Express Train. Well that’s great. Since I have a very strong dislike for Bush, a change of the administration would be a welcome change. And there’s no better way to do that than to create a competitive election and get people involved.

First off, I know that the democratic process is an essential role in what makes America great and grand…and all that good stuff. But I’m getting tired of hearing all about these elections. I know that these elections are important…I would hope that every fool knows that. But man, does every news station have to talk about the election every single minute for every live long day? I mean, I’ve seen baby pictures of the candidates, I’ve heard them recall their fondest adolescent story, and I’ve heard all their political pitches. Enough already. When can we all go back to watching the news for the crime, traffic and weather?

Just asking.
