Holiday Hiatus

As per my usual posts this time of year, it's time for me to take a break from this blog to enjoy the holidays. I will be living it up in NYC for the next few weeks and will return after the new year.

Need Sleep

OK for the past five nights, I have not gotten more than five hours of sleep each night (and on Friday and Saturday night, I think I only got like 2-3 hours)…

I'm in dire need of some serious sleep before I fall over and pass out. My head has been in constant pain, my eyes have been baggy, and my entire body has felt like crap. So I need to end the torture and just spend a night in and crash. That'll be awesome. Too bad I got plans until the middle of next month…please people, have some mercy!

My mind is going blank on topics to blog about...

Too Many Parties

I never thought I would ever complain about this…but hey, there is a first time for everything. Man, there are just too many holiday parties going on this year. What the heck is that all about?

I’m totally exhausted from this week’s round of parties, and I still have appearances that I still need to make over the course of the next few weeks. *sigh* Yeah, it’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it, right? Ha! Seriously, remind me that I’m complaining about this…because one day I am never going to believe I’m saying this.

I’m feeling mildly disgusted with all the food and drinks that I’ve been having lately. I mean, I have never been one to turn away free food and an open bar (as most of you know)…but damn, I’m getting really close. Every place I turn someone is pushing food at me or shoving a drink in my face…what’s a girl to do? Hahaha. I knew there was a reason why I always loved the holidays.

So let’s all close 2008 with a nice toast to…life, laughter, and love. Cheers!

Still Digesting

Is everyone feeling alright out there? Have the meat sweats finally worn off yet? Hahaha.

After a long Thanksgiving weekend, I’m still feeling a little like death. I ate (and drank) way too much this entire weekend. *sigh* Not that I'm complaining too much. I always enjoy Thanksgiving...since it’s the official kickoff of the holiday season and a great reason to eat to your stomach’s content…if not a little more. Ha!

I had such an awesome and relaxing weekend…man, just thinking about it makes me happy. Because I was on-call this holiday weekend, I was mildly worried that I would have been pulled away to work…but, thankfully, the weather gods were smiling down on me…and I was able to really enjoy this long weekend as it was meant to be enjoyed. And maybe that’s why I had such a good weekend…because the bar was probably set kinda low. But yeah, it was super nice.

Well since the holiday season is officially underway…let’s all kick back and enjoy the upcoming holiday festivities. I know I will. :-)
