Back From Boston

I have returned from Boston and my photos are uploaded and captioned and ready for viewing. Aren’t you impressed? Less than 24 hours and they’re ready to go. Check ‘em out. I impress myself sometimes. Ha!

I had a good time in Boston. Granted, it was a tad on the chilly side, but overall, I can’t complain. I got a chance to catch a Bruins game on opening night (that’s hockey for you non-sports fans), went on a tour of Fenway Park (gotta head back at some point to catch a game), and was able to eat my way through some super cool places (really wish I had more stomach space to eat more).

So overall, it was a good trip. And for your information, you might notice that I kept the Giants spirit alive in Boston the best I could by sporting my Giants shirt during most of my time there. Hehe.

Headed East...Again

I'm taking a few days away from the Bay Area to head to the East Coast again...next up, Boston baby! Wahoo!

Game 3

Giants took game 3 of the NLCS against the Phillies today and I was lucky enough to be there!!! It was such an awesome game and I had such a good time. Yeah!!! And for all you haters out there…I didn’t even call in sick to work today. I used a legitimate vacation day, so don’t even think you can get me into trouble…bitch.

Anyway, I digress from the game. The weather was perfect. The fans were crazy. And the energy inside the park was insane. Now, this was the first time, in a long time, that I sat in the bleachers…and boy, let me tell you, bleacher seats are full of all the crazy ass die-hard fans. I saw some crazy costumes, a couple fights, and plenty of hardcore Giants fans. It was crazy. Haha. Best out of 7, Giants lead the series 2-1 and Game 4 is tomorrow. Go Giants!!!

If It's Love

Train's "If It's Love" is my new favorite song. This song sums up my entire weekend. :-) The video leaves much to be desired...it's such a good song and deserves a much better video accompaniment...but enjoy nonetheless. Isn't this song just awesome?

DC Pictures

OK with only a couple days back from vacation, I have finished my DC pictures and they are ready for viewing…not bad, I must say.

After looking at my pictures, I realize I didn’t get some of the pictures that I wanted to capture while I was there. I would’ve loved to get some better shots of the Jefferson Memorial (hands down one of my favorite places to visit in DC), the Hope Diamond in the Museum of Natural History (I have put in my request for one of my own…hehe), and some night shots of the National Mall and all its glory.

So…like I said…I will need to return to DC at some point and add to my photo gallery. :-)

Three Things

So I have returned from a nice long weekend in DC and have noticed three things upon my return…

1. The weather is forecasted to be absolutely gorgeous in the Bay Area this week! After having the most perfect weather in DC…a nice 77 degrees with a slight fall breeze (it was absolutely perfect)…coming back home to a nice balmy fall is more than I can ask for. How awesome is that?!?!

2. I must return to DC at some point. You know, with all the vacations that I have taken, I don’t think that I have ever returned with such an immediate feeling of needing to plan my next trip back so soon. Granted, don’t get me wrong, I had a good time in DC. However, there were quite a few things on my list that I didn’t get a chance to do, places that I didn’t get to see and foods that I didn’t get a chance to eat. Sooo, I’ll have to hit up DC again at some point and do some more exploring. But as for this trip, I’ll be working on getting my pictures up before I head off on my next trip. Next up...it's Boston, baby!! Hehe.

3. And...the Giants are headed to the NLCS against the Phillies!!! Oh yeah…I’m so excited.

Overall…it’s been an awesome weekend!!! :-)

Blue Angels

So I had to post one last time before heading to DC for a long weekend.

The Blue Angels are in town for Fleet Week and for the fourth year in a row, I’m going to miss the festivities again. Why do I always seem to be traveling and on vacation during this time of year? Hahaha...who knows? However, I did get special access to their hangar out at SFO yesterday (which was so super cool) and I just couldn't wait to share some of the pictures. Enjoy!

Headed East

With a long weekend ahead of me, I’m headed to the East Coast to enjoy the sights and sounds of another bustling city. I’m excited. Wahoo!

The Giants sure knew how to make it interesting and exciting. It all came down to the last game of the regular season for the Giants to finally beat the Padres and clinch the NL West. Wahoo!!! Go Giants!!!

October

Yes, it is October already…and we only have a couple months left in 2010. Isn’t that crazy? I know I can’t believe it. But moving right along, today is Friday. Thank goodness!!! I love Fridays…I mean, who doesn’t love Fridays?!?! I am totally ready to start my weekend and get this party started.
