To Space And Beyond…
So the Americans own space now. In Your Face! I think this change in policy is long overdue. Screw the cooperative spirit of the International Space Station. Screw the need for "exploration" and "science." You heard the president…The United States has the right to cut space off from anyone we deem hostile to us. Why? Because we can, that's why! That's OUR empty expanse up there. And I see absolutely no downside to this. In fact, let's take it a step further. Let's deny North Korea access to oxygen. Don't let us catch you North Koreans breathing down there, or else we're talking sanctions, or at least a sternly worded statement with your name on it, punks! And with Iran, we don’t know what we can do, but we’re going to do something. Something real bad if you guys don’t play nice. I also think we should deny access to the ocean – well, you know, just because we can.
Space may be the final frontier for war and stuff, but it's the first frontier for yet another bold new stroke of the Bush administration policy.
And I roll my eyes at you, Mr. President.
