Final Four

Although it was an outstanding game between Georgetown and North Carolina, I can’t explain how bummed I was that Georgetown prevailed. Typically, I would be all over an underdog win, a David and Goliath story that touches us all and blah blah blah...but since some of my coworkers are all about Georgetown...I’m definitely not.

And now we are down to the Final Four. Florida, UCLA, Georgetown and Ohio State. Since Florida is still in, I’m very hopeful that they will be able to take it all the way...please, please, please. But short of that, it’s Florida against my regional favorite UCLA. What is a girl to choose? Since Ohio State kicked Memphis (my second choice) out...I’m looking for ways to save my bracket. If anything, it'll make for a more interesting week, if nothing else.

I had this long conversation with my cousin last night and his choice pick was Kansas. He had them going all the way!! Can you believe that?? Let me just point out for the record that they do this every single year (or so my brother tells me). They're always really balanced, they peak at the right time, and then they crap the bed in the tournament. It's the Jayhawk tradition.

Since Memphis is out and I’m solely relying on Florida to save my bracket from a pitiful death, I wonder why I even care so much about these damn things? I mean, why did I pick Memphis to get to the finals? What do I know about Memphis? And the Gators...? Don’t get me started on them.

So what was I talking about? Oh, right, go Gators!!!
