Rain

It's about damn time we get some rain. I know, I know, it blows because the upcoming weekend forecast isn't conducive to nice outdoor activities, but we really need all the rain we can get. Contrary to popular belief, I do have some super cool weekend plans, but I'll just have to make some slight adjustments to my wardrobe before heading out the door...not that I'm complaining at all. I mean, come on...if we don't get some rain, we're looking at one long dry summer…and I'd rather not have to deal with water rationing any time soon.

So imagine my relief at seeing this week's forecast and actually waking up to the pitter-patter of rain on my window. I also got to enjoy a nice walk in the rain when I had the chance to leave the office…it was quite pleasant. On a random side note, the wintry, rainy weather does bode well to clear the streets normally lined with homeless people. This morning…I got to enjoy the smell of fresh rain and clean air…versus the stenchy, stale smell of dirty people. Gotta love San Francisco.

Where was I? Oh yeah, the rain. I hope it rains, and rains hard, the next few days...well, preferably during the late night hours...so as not to make it completely unbearable to enjoy this weekend. But rain, please rain.
