I'm Back

Anyone miss me? …Hello? Anyone out there? Is this thing on? OK well anyway, I guess it's just me today.

After spending most of March, being out and about, it'll be nice to have some time to settle back into a routine and get some work done for a change. Although, even though I just got back from vacation, I'm already anxiously awaiting my next vacation. Go figure.

Let's see, what can I talk about? Since I've been gone for awhile, I think I might have forgotten how this blogging thing works. I had a great time in Long Beach and in Miami. I spent a lot of time sightseeing (pictures will be posted soon), relaxing (the beaches on both coasts are very nice), and…well you know, eating (my favorite pastime). There was a conference in Long Beach, so I was there partly for work and partly for fun. It was nice to be able to work outside of the office and enjoy a change of scenery. As for fun, I spent a day at Disneyland. It’s been more than a few years since I’ve been there, so I had a good time…minus all the screaming, annoying, and obnoxious kids…but like I said, other than that, I had a great time. I went to Miami strictly for fun and I lucked out that the weather was pretty good. There was a day and a half of overcast and rainy weather…but it was still quite warm and pleasant. I’m just glad that it wasn’t too humid and muggy. Although, it didn't work in my favor that I happened to be in Miami during spring break week, but hey, whatever, I made it work. Oh, but the food…let’s talk about that. Oh man, it was absolutely amazing. I had some Cuban food (of course), sampled some Argentinean food, and enjoyed some Peruvian food. I wish I took pictures of some of the different dishes that I sampled…but how much of a dork would that make me? “…wait, can’t eat anything until I take a good picture.” Yeah, that would make me a super dork.

Anyway, other than that, I don't have anything new to report. You would think that my first post back wouldn’t be so boring…but there you have it.
