I had a pretty good weekend. I got a fair amount of stuff done, which is always nice after a long, crazy week. And, hey, being able to kick back, hang out and relax is super cool. I’m glad I found some time to watch a few of the March Madness games on Saturday...speaking of the Madness...
I'm just going to ignore the fact that Butler knocked out Pitt, Louieville lost to Morehead State (really, Morehead State) and VCU took out Georgetown and Purdue!!! I mean, what the heck was up with that? Sure, I have other losses that I'm trying to come to terms with, but those are my big ones. Ugh. But I guess I should just be happy that I still have over half of my Elite 8 teams and all my Final 4 teams still alive and kicking, right? Ugh. Such is the excitement and heartache that comes with March Madness. Anyway, moving right along...
As for some bad news, last week a person I know got robbed. Now, it's not that I'm unsympathetic to him and the horrible incident, because, of course, I am. However, he is one of those people who shares his entire life on Facebook and Twitter...and has a billion freakin’ friends. Now, individually, these two things shouldn’t lead to a big problem, however, together…it’s just a recipe for disaster. I mean, when you have a billion friends and followers and you insist on posting every couple minutes and updating your status just as often…then it can lead to problems. Imagine when he decided to announce to the world, and start a countdown (via Facebook and Twitter), of his week-long trip to Hawaii...what do you think happened? Yup, that's right, his house was robbed. I know, I know, it still sucks. But c'mon people, let's all be smart about these kinda things. Shesh.
Anyway, I finally (I know, finally) got a chance to upload, organize and caption my pictures from my trip to Scottsdale last weekend (pictures posted). So feel free to check ‘em out. :-)
