Looking Forward

Yes, the Giants are done. Their season ended yesterday. Shut out of the playoffs and left out in the cold. I can go on and on and on about this travesty…but they don’t really have anyone else to blame. If the Giants had not sucked it up during the last couple weeks of their regular season, we’d be headed to the playoffs right now. But they solidified their fate about two weeks ago and are now stuck looking at the postseason from the sidelines...and this coming off a World Series winning season last year. Ugh.

So looking forward…what can Bay Area fans look forward to? The Sharks? Hmm…always a heartbeaker. They always look so promising during the regular season but fuck things up in the playoffs. They’re such a tease. The Niners?…Well, maybe. I mean, their last couple wins were extremely sloppy and I’m not so sure they were well-deserved wins. But hey, Niners in the postseason…crazier things have happened. Cal and Stanford football…? Cal can’t be as bad as Stanford, right? And hello? Who really cares about Stanford anyway? Psh, Losers. The Warriors? Haha. I’m not even going to pretend I follow the Warriors and know anything about them. The A’s?…Well that’s easy, they suck and they’re worst than the Giants. Lastly, the Raiders. Who would believe that the Raiders might actually make the playoffs this year? But they’re actually looking pretty good. Yes, I know, I can’t believe I said that either. But, hey, it’s true.

So what does this all mean…? Peace out to the Giants and see ya' next year.
