My Stores

When you think of the places where you shop…where do your loyalties lie? Since I’ve been planning this party and in charge of food, favors and prizes, I realize there are only a couple places that I choose to shop at and…I visit them over and over and over again.

Target – I love Target. Target has everything and I do mean, literally, everything. There has not been a time when I have needed something that Target hasn’t had. It’s amazing. There are two Targets that I regularly visit and know the floor plan like the back of my hand…and yet I still find myself wandering around aimlessly browsing for things I don’t need. Haha. Now if only I could get them to hire me, I would have an excuse to be there all the time…and that would be great.

Costco – Who doesn’t love Costco and being able to buy things in bulk? It’s awesome. I mean, I love mayonnaise…and at Costco, I can buy a whole gallon of mayonnaise instead of this 8 or 12 oz garbage. And rice? Don’t get me started on how much rice I could buy at Costco. I’m Chinese…and I eat a lot of rice. Costco is my best friend. And hey, if I don’t go to Costco to buy something, I can always count on running into some random person I know there. Costco is the new social place to be. Haha.

Safeway – I’m at Safeway, at least, once a week. Yes, buying in bulk saves money but when I need “fresh” items…I go to Safeway. Safeway has such an awesome marketing plan. I mean, I find myself at work and I randomly think of something I need and/or want to buy so…I go to their website, see if it qualifies as a “just for you” item, add it to my cart…find myself browsing for other “just for you” items to throw in my cart…and then head to Safeway to do my shopping and find more things I want to buy. It’s super convenient and really cool. And don’t get me started on their Friday specials…I go nuts for those too.

Anyway, what stores are on your list? Does your list look like my list? I’m just curious.
